Eleventh Hour Net

A new Amateur Radio "NET" is scheduled to be held on Saturday, January 13th at 11 AM on the KA6JJW repeater, the purpose of this net is to discuss subjects of interest to the Lake, Mendocino and Sonoma counties Amateur Radio community. Non-Ham listeners may tune in and listen on 146.775 MHz. which is available on most scanners. If the repeater is busy or in use otherwise, the net will move to the repeater in Willits on 145.130 MHz. All local and visiting Amateur Radio operators are encouraged to participate.

The subject of this first net will include discussion of current emergency procedures and how to integrate the Amateur Radio community into the roll of assisting in times of emergency. This will be a directed net so please use net protocol and direct all comments through net control to avoid confusion, remember the pubic may be monitoring so lets try and act professional. There will be ample time for introduction of other topics either for immediate discussion or on future dates.
