Habitat for Humanity Lake County will sponsor a solar workshop from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at the United Methodist Church of Clearlake.
The public is invited to come and learn how a solar photovoltaic system works and how to install your own system.
Habitat for Humanity has retained the nonprofit firm, Grid Alternatives, to do a training session on Friday and to offer guidance in the actual installation on a Habitat home on Saturday, Sept. 22.
The home installation will be at 15921 39th Ave., Clearlake, starting at 8:00 a.m.
If you have ever wanted to know how to do install a solar system, this workshop will give you the opportunity to do so.
The workshop is free to all members of the community. |
Location: United Methodist Church is located at 14521 Pearl Ave. near the intersection of Pearl and Mullen in Clearlake.
