The regular meeting of the Vikings of Lake, Sons of Norway Lodge No.6-166 will be on Wednesday, Aug. 15.

You are invited to join the club at their meeting held at Galilee Lutheran Church Community Center at 8860 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville, beginning at 7 p.m.

The group will welcome visiting author Lauraine Snelling, one of the most well-known Christian / Norwegian authors to join them, through member Joyce Vaughn.

This evening is known as one of the group's "Heritage and Culture" nights where the lodge opens its doors to those who wish to learn more about Scandinavia.

The club is fortunate to share an evening with Snelling, a wonderful writer with a sparkling wit. Snelling conducts writer's workshops and travels the country teaching and sharing. She also is a member of the more-than Two Million Books In Print club and helping others reach their writing dream is the reason she teaches at writer's conferences across the country.

The lodge welcomes all who are interested in "An Evening with Lauraine Snelling." Refreshments will be served following the presentation.
