The January meeting of the Lake County Democratic Club will be held at an earlier time.  January's meeting will convene at 10:30 a.m on Saturday, Jan. 13, in the Alpine Room at the Lucerne Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive. The club elected to change the meeting time, so that interested Democrats, living in Assembly District 1 can attend the AssemblyDistrict Caucus delegate elections  in Ukiah at 1 p.m. on that day. Committee appointments and a 2007 work plan are on the agenda. The Lucerne Senior Center serves breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon for $6. Meetings are open to all, membership is open to registered Democrats. The Lake County Democratic Club is an affiliated chapter of the Progressive Democrats of America.
