Four-day blues festival in which acclaimed musicians take turns each night on the hotel veranda, performing for a full crowd in a garden setting where a barbecue dinner will be served. Barry “Big B” Brenner opens all four nights' performances at 5:30 p.m., followed by these great lineups: Wednesday: Freddie Hughes at 6:30 p.m. Thursday: Bettie Mae Fikes with Robert Watson and the BMF Band at 6:30 p.m. Friday: Lake Blues All-Stars with Jim Williams, Jon Hopkins, and MikeWilhelm at 6 p.m., and Twice as Good with Rich and Paul Steward will follow at 7:15 p.m. Saturay: Claudette King, daughter of blues legend B.B. King, will perform with BluesExpress recording artist Frankie Lee. Sponsored by KNTI 99.5 FM, the Tallman Hotel, and the Blue Wing Saloon & Café. Tallman Hotel, 9550 Main St. Admission is $25 including the barbecue dinner. |
