The monthly meeting of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 88 of Lake County, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Lakeport Yacht Club located at the 5th Street launching ramp in Lakeport.

On the agenda will be the results of the recent "tie-out" qualifications and the election of the new commander and vice-commander for the coming year of 2010.

Also, the change of watch activities scheduled for Dec. 5 at Zino's Ristorante will be discussed and confirmed.

With the new year fast approaching, Flotilla 88 urges anyone interested in becoming a member of this active flotilla to attend the meeting and learn how you, too, can become one of America's Volunteer Life Savers.
