The ProtectMarriage Coalition will meet with all those interested in volunteering in Lakeport Wednesday, Aug. 27 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Lakeport located at 801 N. Main Street. ProtectMarriage is a statewide coalition of all those who support the November Ballot measure, Proposition 8 which states that "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in the State of California". Come sign up to volunteer at your own comfort level. |
