KELSEYVILLE – Vikings of Lake, Sons of Norway Lodge meets at Galilee Lutheran Community Center, 8860 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville.
This month is a special time as May 17th is a National Holiday in Norway. We will meet on Wednesday, May 21 to celebrate. Some will be dressed in Norwegian Bunads and will march in honor of Norway's Constitution Day. “Hurra, Hurra for Syttende Mai.”
You are welcome to attend if you would like to learn about our heritage.
For dinner at 6 p.m., we are going to learn how to make an open-faced sandwich and then enjoy eating it. Open-faced sandwiches are quite artistic and favored in Scandinavia.
Dinner costs $6 per person. The evening promises to be quite interesting.
Our Constitution Day Parade will follow outdoors. You are very welcome. |
