Seventeenth-annual bicycle ride, set in beautiful Lake County, that features three challenging courses: a 30-mile course that winds through the resort and vineyard sections of north Lakeport; a 65-mile adventure course along the lakeshore; and the endurance-testing 100-mile course around the lake; plus an 18-mile family fun ride. A project of the Rotary Club of Lakeport, the course includes rest stops offering snacks and drinks, including the Lakeport Yacht Club, where riders begin and end the ride. Thirty-mile riders and family fun riders leave between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.; the 65- and 100-mile riders leave between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Barbecue follows.
