California Certified Organic Farmers Foundation's Going Organic project is planning an upcoming meeting in Lake County.
The organic system plan training will be held from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 24, at Big Valley Grange (three miles east of Lakeport), at 1510 Big Valley Road in Finley.
Join California Certified Organic Farmers representatives for Crop OSP 101, an afternoon training session that will help you learn more about organic agriculture and guide you through the Organic System Plan (OSP) design.
Participants will be able to ask questions and receive feedback about organic certification at this free, informational event. Refreshments, sample OSPs, and additional resources will be available to all participants.
This is a great opportunity to brush up on or learn about organic farming and certification issues while meeting new and current organic growers. The event is open to all interested parties. |
