Chef Mr. Mac will prepare a chicken Cordon Bleu dinner and Shotgun Willie's popular country dance band will play for dancing Feb. 21 at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center's Sweetheart Ball.
Dinner will be at 6 p.m. and dancing will start at 7:30.
Reservations are needed. To make them, call LASC, 274-8779.
Mac (James E. McDonald) first learned to cook preparing breakfast in bed for his parents. He cooked for generals and admirals during his military service and has been a farmer and rancher.. "To me farms are produce and ranches are animals," he said.
He also has cooked for casinos, hotels and restaurants. |
