I 2:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER II ADDITIONS TO AGENDA Consideration of adding emergency matters or items for which there is a need to take action and the need to take action arose after the agenda was posted III Review and Approval of Minutes IV Public Comments Under this item, citizens may speak for up to 3 minutes on matters within the P.E.G. Committee's jurisdiction which are not on the agenda. The Committee is prohibited under the Public Meeting Law from taking action on matters that are not on the agenda, however, the Committee may take citizen's input under advisement, direct staff to place the matter on a future agenda for discussion and/or possible action or refer matters to staff for follow-up. V NEW BUSINESS 1. 1. Joint Powers Authority Report-Ed Robey and Joyce Overton 2. 2. Report from PEG Policies and Procedures sub-committee (Overton working on typing) 3. 3. Report of future of Public Access i.e. Do we want to stay with local cable companies? Do we want AT&T providing our local video?- Dante 4. 4. How does TV 8 get the weather forecast back on its station?-Robey 5. 5. Discussion of a TV 8 studio with adequate cameras and video editing equipment . Christwitz 6. 6. K-12 PEG Committee Member (Dr. Louise Nan and Harriet Rogers will be present at February 7th meeting and would like to know more about the purpose, related duties, and expectations of a PEG committee member. - Schenck
