| The Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild will meet on Saturday, April 5, in the Scotts Valley Women’s Clubhouse at 2298 Hendricks Road, Lakeport.
The doors open at 9 a.m. and the meeting begins at 10 a.m. Come early to browse the quilt library, sign up for special events, and socialize.
Quilting fun and games are on the program this month. Bring three fat quarters to ante up for Quilto and join the fun. A fat quarter is a piece of 100-percent cotton quilting fabric cut to 18 by 22 inches. If you don’t have a fabric stash to supply your fat quarters, local quilt shops and discount stores sell quilting fabric.
Ladies of the Lake Quilt Guild welcomes all quilters and prospective quilters to its meetings and events. Through a variety of programs and projects, the quilt guild members learn new skills and techniques, benefit the Lake County community, and enjoy themselves immensely. |
