For those among us who didn't have a chance to see the movie “Hintel Gaahnula” (“Talking Indian”) at the Lake County Museum last month, a repeat presentation will be offered this Sunday, March 16, beginning at 1 p.m. The screening will be held at the Clear Lake Riviera Community Center, 9689 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville. This important and moving documentary was produced by the Big Valley Rancheria in association with the Administration for Native Americans, and was edited and narrated by Jim Bluewolf, author and previous Lake County Poet Laureate. All who wish to deepen their knowledge of history and of the native people of the area are encouraged to attend, as this 90 minutes film is very educational and helpful in broadening our individual understanding of past and present local issues. |
Location: Clear Lake Riviera Community Center, 9689 Soda Bay Road, Kelseyville.
