Beginning in 1979 with the Yuba College production of "Calamity Jane," Claudia Listman and Voris Brumfield have worked together on various projects in Lake County, including the Annual Middletown Renaissance Pageant for more than 10 years. These two friends will present a special drama, "What's the RIGHT Church? Finding a home,” at Middletown Community United Methodist Church's 10 a.m. service on Sunday, March 2. The two-person narrative was first published in Wings over the Mountains of Life and is being presented with permission from the author, Nathaniel Bronner, pastor of The ARK of Salvation in Atlanta. Additionally, during the service, Middletown Sober Grad Coordinator Cia Dedmon and students will be honored as the first nonprofit recipient of the new monthly Middletown Methodist Church Community Outreach Program. |
