Plumbline School of the Spirit, Session 1

“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” -- Psalm 19:38

Plumbline School of the Spirit is an interdenominational ministry. These sessions are designed to embrace the Word of God while giving room for the Ministry of the Holy Spirit. The atmosphere is intended to allow “He who began a good work in you ...” to continue it and, “Having begun in the Spirit ...” to continue there as well. God's Word does tell us, “let all things be done decently and in order.” Trying to honor these is the aim.

It is open to all Christians, regardless of their age, position, whether currently in or out of church, who desire to be encouraged as they continue to grow in the knowledge and grace of God with the help of the Holy Spirit. It is not an alternative to church but rather meant to enhance your walk wherever you are.

The first classes will be a 12-week series designed to look at “Spiritual Foundations” throughout the Scriptures. These are not necessarily “the basics.”

Topics will include: Principles regarding the comparisons between natural and spiritual foundations, the make-up of the stones, God’s Mortar, tools used in spiritual wall building, root vs. fruit, the Heart and Soul of the Builder and so on.

The sessions will take place at 7 p.m. on Tuesdays, Jan. 30 through April 24, in the Junior Building at the Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin St., Lakeport.

The sessions are led by Rev. Michael B. Willingham of Plumbline Ministries. For more information contact Willingham at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it
